The tattoo may become tender during healing
The tattoo may become slightly raised and skin surrounding the tattoo may become red during the healing period, which should dissipate after a few days.
Once all peeling has occurred, a milky white coating may appear on the surface of the tattoo. This is nothing more than the new skin rejuvenating over the tattoo. This will fade within a few days.
